In 1947 while living in a residential neighborhood in Youngwood, PA, Harry and Dorothy Wolfe began Wolfe Nursery. The small business initially started with Harry removing the backseat from his car to create a "mock" truck. Through the years, Harry's love for plants continued to grow and they quickly realized they were outgrowing their limited workspace.
Today, Wolfe Nursery is proud to maintain its family atmosphere and roots in Hempfield Township. We pride ourselves on growing high quality nursery stock, acclimated to Pennsylvania weather, and providing superior materials at affordable prices. We know that our success relies on our customer's happiness and we are committed to earning your business.
The 4th generation of Wolfe Nursery staff is already in the works. Don't be surprised to find - Kaden Ficco or the 'Wolfe girls' - Scotlyn, Brynlee and Charlie watering the plants as they are the "chief irrigators".
