Wolfe Nursery is a family owned and operated business located in Greensburg, PA. We are located 40 miles east of Pittsburgh and just minutes off the New Stanton exit on the PA turnpike.

Wolfe Nursery takes pride in providing quality nursery stock, growing over 90% right here in Hempfield Township. We grow shade and ornamental trees, flowering shrubs, conifers and perennials. It is a huge advantage to our retail customers, garden centers, and local landscapers to have plant material already accustomed to our severe winters and Pennsylvania soils. We also offer landscape design service for the "do it yourself" customer. Our family is here for you from beginning to end.

In addition, Wolfe Nursery is home to the Wolfe Den Garden Shop! The garden shop is a treasure of unique gift items, collectibles, and is sure to please the garden enthusiast. We carry an array of items including Steiff collectible bears, LGB indoor/outdoor trains, Charlie bears, along with a full supply of garden items, hardscape materials, and water garden supplies. During the holiday season, we also specialize in live, fresh cut, and artificial Christmas trees.

Wolfe Nursery is open year round with limited hours January thru March. Every trip is a new experience - as we change with the seasons.

In 1947 while living in a residential neighborhood in Youngwood, PA, Harry and Dorothy Wolfe began Wolfe Nursery. The small business initially started with Harry removing the backseat from his car to create a "mock" truck. Through the years, Harry's love for plants continued to grow and they quickly realized they were outgrowing their limited workspace.

Today, Wolfe Nursery is proud to maintain its family atmosphere and roots in Hempfield Township. We pride ourselves on growing high quality nursery stock, acclimated to Pennsylvania weather, and providing superior materials at affordable prices. We know that our success relies on our customer's happiness and we are committed to earning your business.

The 4th generation of Wolfe Nursery staff is already in the works. Don't be surprised to find - Kaden Ficco or the 'Wolfe girls' - Scotlyn, Brynlee and Charlie watering the plants as they are the "chief irrigators".
